The second training phase expanded context capacity from 4,096 to 16,384 tokens using Rotary Positional Embeddings scaling—a technique that incorporates additional tokens by adjusting rotational frequency within the existing positional framework. This enhancement enabled sequential processing of multiple cells, facilitating temporal analysis across developmental pathways rather than individual cell examination. This phase employed Genecorpus-Aging-22M: roughly 22 million cellular profiles across 600 human cell types from approximately 3,800 donors representing every life stage from infancy to nonagenarians, gender-balanced (49% male, 51% female), generating about 650 billion tokens.
